A close-up of the photo above shows Amber, fitting in very well with her colouring.

Zac happily greeting some friends:

The obligatory "Zac in the water" photo!

    1. This particular woodland is a regular place where I walk my dog and the beauty of it is that it changes all the time throughout the year. I always carry my camera!

    1. I love the Autumn colours and I decided I needed to get down there before all the leaves had fallen. Just made it!

  3. What a fabulous woodland area to roam. I like the photo with the bench which shows how massive the trees are. I love the shape of the overhanging trees, too. Enjoy your beautiful landscape.

    1. It's like walking through a living, changing cathedral at times when the trees form an arch overhead. Gorgeous!

  7. Rambler, you've got a natural born water dog there! Perfect photo op.

I took a Central Park walk with a friend yesterday afternoon with a friend, but without my camera. We saw lots of the same gorgeous colors that appear in your post. We also spotted a low flying hawk who was looking for a snack. All the smaller birds were sound the alarm in their songs.
