Right! I have approximately 15 minutes to write a December post, a December 2017 post indeed.
So - a few photos of recent walks with the Benji Dog, mostly on Caradon Hill, Bodmin Moor.
Uh-oh! I great big rain cloud has appeared overhead . .
Watch out for random collapsed mine shafts - there's one right behind this rock.
Housman's Engine House
The setting sun illuminating St. George's Island.
Benji, freshly shampoo'ed and blow-dried after getting filthy on the Moor!
Made it! Just! That's it for 2017 - have a brilliant 2018.
Happy New Year to you and Benji, he looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandra - he has lots more energy now and is always ready for his walk and the chance to run free.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLittle Benji looks so happy and healthy; all credit to you!
Benji looks so good these days! I can't remember a recent update on his weight loss - spill the beans! Happy New Year to you both.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, Mary! Benji's weight loss is slowing now, but he's presently 12.2 Kg. Could be described as merely 'stocky' rather than the obese little feller he was when he came to me last April. I'm thinking he should be around the 9Kg. mark, although I'm sure he wouldn't agree.
DeleteStocky or not he looks good and a credit to himself and you.
DeleteI wish my Rick would let me shampoo and blow dry him. Benjo looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Benji's looking good - a credit to you. Looking forward to April - our next trip to your lovely Cornwall.
ReplyDeleteOoohh lovely! Which part of Cornwall will you be visiting? I just pray we shall have better weather this year - we had more than our fair share of rain in 2017 methinks!
DeleteWe will be based near Mevagissey but we travel all over by car or the train from St Austell. We love it!
DeleteBenji is looking so cute....Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteBenji is a handsome fellow! He looks happy, too.
ReplyDeleteAnd all the best for you two in the new year :)
ReplyDeleteBenji is looking so good. Best wishes for 2018.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, good to see yoou and Benji again🙂
ReplyDeleteYou are braver than me near collapsed shafts - are they completely blocked up? I’d be terrified of Daisy falling in one - she would definitely be on a long lead
Some of the really deep ones are fenced off, but mine shafts can collapse at any time. They gradually fill in with shrubs, turf, even trees which makes them safer, but occasionally a dog has to be rescued after falling down one, usually when chasing a rabbit.
